Using the iCargo Common Framework

The webinar will provide an introduction to the iCargo Common Framework which is used to support the information exchange in the iCargo project as well as other European projects.

The Common Framework Reference Model decomposes the entire transport and logistics domain into manageable sub-domains - each addressing responsibility areas. It includes roles, functions (responsibilities), business processes and information exchange interfaces. The interfaces are described using UML Class Diagrams, XSD Schemas and XML examples.

This webinar will present the iCargo Common Framework in a way that is suitable for systems developers as well as other actors involved with systems development and integration in the transport and logistics domain. The attendant will get an understanding of the different parts of the framework and a particular focus will be given on the information models describing the interfaces and how these can be implemented.
