The objective of PathoRAS is to ensure biosecurity measures in Atlantic salmon RAS through a better understanding of how pathogens proliferate, establish, and survive in a complex ecosystem of the RAS environment.

Currently there is great interest from both private and public stakeholders to implement large energy storage systems combined with renewable intermittent energy sources in order to maximize the utilization of the produced electricity.

This preliminary project aimed to identify the new challenges faced by Ørland Municipality and Ørland Air Base as a result of a changing world, the new strategic significance of the Trøndelag region, and the associated shift in the threat landscape.

The objective is to raise awareness, build capacity, share knowledge of best practice internationally, and provide technical support and disseminating information to industry and authorities.
