Zacharoula is a researcher at SINTEF Digital. After completing her Ph.D (University of Macedonia, GR) in Information Systems, she joined NTNU (NO), as a postdoc/ERCIM fellow in the field of multimodal interaction. Currently, she is a research scientist in several projects funded by EU , NFR, or other national and/or international sources. Her research interest is on ethical AI, responsible digitalization, adaptive systems, and user modeling. She has published more than 40 research articles.
