Volker is a Research Scientist in the Smart Data group. He has experience applying data-driven methods (Data Science, Machine Learning) methods across many domains, but with focus on weather prediction, optical satellites, and power grids. Currently, he is wondering how data-driven methods can help decision-making in climate-related challenges.
