Valentin's main field of research is multidisciplinary wind farm simulation and control, focusing on system-level applications such as grid integration and maintenance planning. He previously worked in collaboration with SINTEF Ocean on hardware-in-the-loop wave tank testing of floating wind turbines.
2016 - PhD from NTNU in Mechatronics/Marine Technology - topic: Real-time Hybrid Model Testing of Floating Wind Turbines
2011 - Double MSc degree from Grenoble-INP and NTNU - Energy & Process engineering
