Nicholas Islongo Canabarro

Research Scientist

Chemical engineer with a background in biomass conversion into value-add molecules by the biorrefinery concept. His main interests are improving the energy efficiency of industrial processes and developing new process for bioenergy production, which paves the way for a more sustainable future.

Education

Graduated as Chemical Engineer at the Federal University of Pampa - UNIPAMPA, Master in Process Engineering at the Federal University of Santa Maria and PhD in Chemical Engineering at the Federal University of São Carlos. He worked as a postdoctoral researcher at the Institute of Chemistry at the University of São Paulo (IQ-USP) and at Paul Scherrer Institut (Villigen, Switzerland).
