Process Technology

Coming from Italy, I work as a researcher in the process technology department in Trondheim. My research is focused on CO2 capture process modelling and simulation (including thermodynamic modelling for amine blends) and CCU technologies (bioprocesses, biorefinery, and waste-to-chemicals). My research activities include conceptual design, process design and TEA. I also have some experience in DAC and CO2 recovery technologies from CO2-diluted systems.

PhD in Chemical Engineering & Industrial Chemistry from Politecnico di Milano (PoliMI) - 2022
Thesis title - Towards net-negative emissions methanol synthesis: integration of novel reformer conceptual design coupling process electrification and oxyfuel steam moderated combustion

MSc in ChemEng, PoliMI, Italy - 2018
Batchelor in ChemEng, PoliMI, Italy - 2016

Competence and research areas

Process modelling, process simulation (Aspen & COFE), process conceptual design, CCUS technologies, CO2 capture, CO2 utilization, CDR technologies, biorefineries, MATLAB
