I have been in SINTEF since 1989, and I started as a research scientist, and did continue as Senior Scientist (2002), Research Manager (2009, 2023-2025), Research Director(2010-2023) and today I am Senior Business Developer (2025-). From 1997-2001 I had was Research Scientist in NTNU.

Competence and research areas
I have mainly worked with topics related to marine aquaculture technology during my research career. Within this field I am most engaged in study of larval nutrition, production techniques of microalgae and zooplankton, studies of the food chain algae – zooplankton – fish larvae, and cultivation of low trophic species. I have worked with fish species as halibut, cod, turbot, ballan wrasse, goldsinny wrasse, bluefin tuna and with low trophic species as blue mussels, gammaridaes and scallop.
