The CRIOP methodology step by step - prepare and organize

The aim of this section is to describe how to prepare and organise the CRIOP analysis and to describe when CRIOP should be used related to the design and operation of the control centre (CC).

The activities in this phase of the CRIOP analysis are:

  • State preconditions for study
  • Plan and decide on the “timing” of the analysis
  • Establish the analysis group (organise the work)
  • Collect relevant documentation
  • Work load assessment
  • Practical considerations (facilitate the group process)
  • Suggested agenda – CRIOP analysis meeting
  • The project-contractor appoints a CRIOP specialist to walk through the mentioned tasks above.

The output of this section will be:

  • Stakeholder and budget
  • Timing
  • Analysis Group
  • Documentation
