Abstract
Tests have been performed to evaluate a draft cable screen connection test procedure.
The tested objects were cable screen connections for cables with both an aluminium
laminate and copper strands in the screen. The test revealed the importance of using
good equalizers to obtain usable results. The definition of equalizers and the
measurement points could be improved. Some remarks on elements to work with are
given in the discussion.
