Adaptive Mesh Refinement Applied at Transverse Flow on Ship Hulls in Shallow Water

Abstract

The Spalart-Allmaras one-equation turbulence model has been used to numerically predict the flow over a 2D ship section with adaptive mesh refinement on multiple CPU's. the Plackett-Burman screening design is utilized in the postprocessing.
