Abstract
A review has been made of the following; 1. Waste materials recommended for co-processing in cement kilns, and of those who are not deemed suitable. 2. Recommended guidelines and operational aspects of pre-processing waste to alternative fuel and raw materials (AFRs) for co-processing in cement kilns. 3. Feed point for AFRs into cement kilns. 4. Occupational health and safety (OH&S) for pre-processing waste to AFR in particular, but also generally for industry like cement plants.
