Experiences from teaching Enterprise Modelling to Students of Information Systems

Abstract

Abstract. In this paper, we describe how Masters students at a university study-ing Information Systems adapt to Enterprise Modelling. The paper describes an overview of the course and its design and the feedback from the students based on a questionnaire at the end of the course. The feedback indicates that the stu-dents found it helpful to be able to select their own cases for their modelling as-signment, that they were able to relate their modelling assignment to the real world and the theory taught in the course and that their confidence in modelling improved during the course.
