Abstract
The presentation introduces the transformative potential of unifying Distributed Computing with Swarm Intelligence through shared, open frameworks and platforms, and examines research and innovation trends to identify where distinct technologies, such as decentralised computing, swarm intelligence, and autonomous agents, can converge to create greater value. The discussion prioritises the "practical realisation" of these systems, focusing on how open-source governance and community-driven development can solve current bottlenecks in scaling and interoperability.
