A standard approach for quantifying methane emissions from offshore platforms in support of OGMP 2.0 Level 5 reporting

In 2024, members of OGMP 2.0 are at the early stages of conducting Site‐Level measurements of methane emissions to support Level 5 reporting within OGMP 2.0. A funded LowEmission Research Center case study included the production of this Technical Memo to assist with collaborative efforts to better conduct site‐level measurements of methane emissions at offshore platforms. The case study involved not only how to quantify offshore methane emissions, but also validating the need for an autonomous platform to conduct these offshore measurements.
