On the cation distribution in acceptor doped Ba(Zr,Ce)O3 (Zr,Ce)O2 co-ionic composite electrolytes

Abstract

The functionality of co-ionic composite electrolytes with fluorite and perovskite phases depends on choice of cations and fabrication. Acceptor dopants migrate to the fluorite phase, depleting the perovskite, but this can be mitigated by tailored strategies.
