Abstract
Seaweed farming can contribute with significant carbon capture from the oceans through the photosynthesis. A permanent storage of the captured carbon is obtained through passive losses of dissolved carbon from the seaweed farm or by producing carbon stable end products from the biomass, whereof biochar is one possibillity.
