Abstract
The proposal presents a new IEC work item for a Situation Awareness System (SAS) Information Interface for Autonomous Navigation Systems (ANS) in maritime autonomous vessels. The aim is to standardize the exchange of situational awareness information between perception systems (SAS) and navigation systems (ANS), while remaining independent of specific system implementations.
