APOS 2.0 Information model for functional safety: An APOS 2.0 report

Abstract

The main objective of this report is to support further digitalisation and standardisation of functional safety in the petroleum industry. The report presents a UML-based information model for safety instrumented functions, covering functional requirements, functional design, asset specification, asset implementation, and operational follow-up. It explains the model structure, key classes, properties, relationships, cardinalities, and value lists, and provides definitions and supporting information in Appendix A. The model is intended as a basis for consistent information exchange and interoperability across systems, organisations, and lifecycle phases.
