Abstract
DYNAPORT (Dynamic Navigation and Port Call Optimisation in Real Time) is a European research and innovation project that develops digital solutions, operational frameworks, and standardisation contributions to improve port call efficiency through Just-In-Time (JIT) operations. The project demonstrated machine-to-machine information exchange between ships and ports, integrated into existing onboard navigation and voyage planning systems, reducing administrative workload, improving data quality, and enhancing coordination among maritime stakeholders. DYNAPORT contributed to the development and implementation of international standards and reference architectures, including the IMO Compendium, ISO 28005, and ISO 26166, to ensure interoperability and scalability of digital maritime services. In addition, the project developed a comprehensive Port Call Blueprint and the concept of a Port Call Coordination Centre (P3C) to support coordinated port call management.
