Abstract
The webinar presents the results of a CFD-based trim optimization study for a representative PSV in regular supply operations on the NCS based on the real data from 18 months of operation. Analysis involving a total of 47 vessel states (trim, draft, speed) is performed to investigate changes in vessel’s hull resistance compared to current operations. The motivation for the study is analysis and documentation of easily implementable energy-saving measures applicable to the PSV fleet in operation on the NCS.
