Abstract
This report has been written in 2015/2016 in the joint industry project "MonitorX – Optimal levetidsutnyttelse av vannkraftanlegg basert på teknisk tilstand og risiko"(Optimal utilization of hydropower asset lifetime by monitoring of technical condition and risk). The report provides a brief overview of the current status of condition monitoring in Norwegian and Swedish hydropower plants.
The status description presented in this report is based on information from different MonitorX project partners. The information has been collected through a web survey, through presentations and discussions with industry partners at project meetings and company visits, through memos and data lists received from different project partners, and through literature studies.
