Water is a fundamental resource, and climate change is making the need for effective water management increasingly urgent.

The goal of CIRSEAU is to secure access to water and support sustainable value creation through water reuse and resource recovery, in line with the new European Water Resilience Strategy.

To support this work, five working groups have been established to:

  • Enhance market uptake and make innovation viable for water management solutions.
  • Assess methods to analyse projects’ results from the social, environmental and economic perspective.
  • Influence the EU-level policy, legislative development and funding priorities.
  • Provide Young Water Professionals with the capacity and skills to work on a changing environment that requires the transition towards a water-smart society.
  • Communicate and disseminate innovative solutions from the CIRSEAU cluster, and from other relevant EU projects and initiatives, to promote knowledge share, collaboration and synergies across different relevant actors.
