Work Packages

jAInitor consists of five work packages (WPs), and has Kamilla Heimar Johra as the project leader.

WP0: Project management and dissemination, led by Aileen Yang, SINTEF Community
Ensure effective project coordination, communication, dissemination, and stakeholder engagement, supporting successful execution and knowledge transfer.

WP1: Empirical-based knowledge repository, led by Kari Thunshelle, SINTEF Community
A structured digital empirical-based knowledge repository (fault database) will be developed as the foundation for FDD in HVAC systems.

WP2:  Fault detection and diagnosis framework, led by John Clauss, SINTEF Community
Collect data from demonstration buildings to develop scalable and interoperable FDD-models. These models will be implemented and tested i selected buildings.

WP3: Fault impact analysis, led by Hicham Johra, SINTEF Community
Develop key performance indicators (KPIs) to quantify and prioritise fault impacts on energy efficiency, indoor environmental quality (IEQ), and system reliability.

WP4: Best Practice for fault handling, led by Andreas Dypvik Landmark, SINTEF Digital
Develop best practice for user-centric fault management tools, to ensure that detection and diagnosis insights translate into actionable decisions for building managers.
