Reidar Bye (39) has been appointed as SINTEF’s Executive Vice President of Finance (CFO) with effect from September 15, 2005. Bye will join the SINTEF Group’s management team and will play a leading role in orienting SINTEF’s commercial operation towards an increasingly important international market. He will be based at SINTEF’s headquarters in Trondheim.
Reidar Bye took his degree in economics at Bodø Regional College in 1990. He joins SINTEF from his current position as mill manager at Norske Skogindustrier ASA in Skogn, one of the largest newsprint mills in Europe. He has a wide range of experience from previous positions in financial control at national and international level for the same company.
