There is the obvious benefit of eliminating carbon emissions associated with power supply to the boosting facility, but for stranded assets there is also a significant saving to be made by eliminating the umbilical required to supply power to the compressor and/or pump. The one significant issue that has been identified which may prevent the realisation of these benefits lies in the intermittent nature of the power supply.

During the webinar some potential solutions to this issue will be proposed, but new solutions are encouraged to bring down cost and/or improve feasibility. Therefore, at the conclusion of this webinar we invite participants to consider; Is there a way to achieve uptime targets without simply increasing the number / power rating of turbines and adding batteries?
