Membranes and Membrane Processes Design
NORDICCS is a virtual carbon capture and storage (CCS) networking platform aiming for increased CCS deployment in the five Nordic countries. The success of NORDICCS is dependent on active involvement from industrial partners.
The SINTEF School offers a wide range of educational and personal development activities.
The players in the Nordic power market, i.e. producers, transmission system operators and regulators use computer models to plan for the best possible utilization of the system and energy resources. Calculation of the operation strategy for hydro storages is the most important and complicating factor in these computations. Emptying the reservoirs too soon may result in curtailment of electricity an to cautious operation may result in unnecessary spillage is a loss to the society.
SUMMER is an EU H2020 research project with 22 partners from all over Europe. SINTEF Ocean is one of the partners of the project, which is coordinated by AZTI in Spain. The project had its kick-off meeting in Bilboa, Spain, from 24th to 26th of September last year. The kick-off meeting was a partly joint meeting together with MEESO, another EU-H2020 project funded to study the mesopelagic challenges.
The project is a concept evaluation for innovative energy and climate solutions in buildings, building areas and energy systems. The evaluation will be conducted in connection with new constructions as well as renovation of existing buildings at Tiller high school (Tiller VGS).
In this webinar we will discuss in more detail the outcome of the whitepaper that was published this summer to highlight the importance of Industrial Heat Pump technologies in reaching the goals of the Climate Agreement.
