Tinku Saikia

Tinku Saikia is a Research Scientist at SINTEF Industries in the Geosciences Department, Drilling and Wells Group. Holding a Ph.D. in Petroleum Engineering, his expertise spans drilling fluid design, gas hydrate inhibition, water shutoff, and produced water management. With 3 patents and 24 SCI publications, he has contributed innovative solutions in subsurface engineering.

Education

Ph.D. in Petroleum Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology (ISM), Dhanbad, India. His educational journey also includes a master’s degree in petroleum exploration and production and a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering.
