Sander Grønnerød

Master of Science

Sander Grønnerød works within the group of Additive Manufacturing at the department of production technology. The group works with multiple additive processes for a wide range of metallic alloys. Particular interests include metallurgy, characterization and heat- and mass transfer. Currently, Sander is a part of the EU-project UPBEAT where a titanium alloy is printed through PBF. In addition, Sander is involved in a project called SmartSirk, where a nickel alloy is produced through WAAM.

Education

Completed a master's degree in material technology at NTNU in 2024. The master thesis evaluated the microstructure of a nickel-based superalloy produced through additive manufacturing.
