Background in computational mechanics, with specialization in linear and nonlinear structural mechanics, flexible multi-body dynamics, development and implementation of methods for numerical simulation of physics problems based on the solution of partial differential equations, by means of the finite element method and isogeometric analysis. Architect of the isogeometric finite element analysis package IFEM. Main developer of now open source multi-body dynamics code OpenFEDEM (openfedem.org).
