Karin Bernsmed is a Senior Research Scientist at SINTEF Digital. She holds a PhD in Information Security and has extensive experience in cyber and software security for critical infrastructure. Her work focuses on security risk assessment, secure system design, and protection of sectors such as aviation, maritime, energy, and healthcare.
Education
Karin holds a PhD in Information Security from NTNU (2007) and an MSc in Media Technology and Engineering from Linköping University (2003). She is a certified ISO/IEC 27001 Lead Implementer.
