Msc in numerical mathematics from NTH (NTNU). Technical consultant and later technical manager for MSC Software (Nastran, Marc, Patran, etc) from 1993-2006. Finite element analysis related to automotive, aerospace, defence industries and consumer products. Research scientist at SINTEF Ocean from 2006-today. Multiple projects related to finite element analysis and full-scale fatigue testing of flexible risers, umbilicals and subsea power cables.
