Elyes Ahmed

Research Scientist

Hello, I'm Elyes, a research scientist in the Applied Computational Science group based in Oslo. My work centers on numerical methods for solving partial differential equations, particularly in the realms of geoenergy, geophysics, and computational fluid dynamics. I'm dedicated to creating advanced simulation tools that explore the possibilities in these areas. If you're interested in finding out more about my research, don't hesitate to reach out or check my profiles on ResearchGate or ORCID.

Education

I completed my MSc in Applied Mathematics at the National Engineering School of Tunis in Tunisia, followed by a PhD in Applied Mathematics jointly conducted at the National Engineering School of Tunis and INRIA-Rocquencourt in France. Subsequently, I pursued two postdoctoral positions; the first at the University of Paris 13 and Inria-Paris in France from 2015 to 2017, and the second at the University of Bergen in Norway from 2017 to 2019.
