During my doctorate I worked with oxygen membranes based on perovskites. After my doctorate, I moved to Ann Arbor, MI and worked a few years to develop beta alumina membranes for AMTEC technology. I moved back to Norway in 2002 to start a post doc at NTNU where I worked with oxygen membranes for three years before i started in SINTEF in 2005. In SINTEF I have worked with membranes, ceramics, coatings and solar cells. In 2012 I took over as research manager in the New Energy Solutions group.
