Microarray
Together with the Norwegian Institute of Water Research (NIVA) we have recently developed a custom-made oligonucleotide microarray for C. finmarchicus.

The first-generation microarray (15Kx8) has been printed, tested and verified in the fall of 2009. It is a valuable tool which makes it possible to screen for induction of thousands of genes. The sequences used for probe design are all available in NCBI GenBank. Through the Calanomics project we have funded large scale FLX454 sequencing which will generate more sequences for the second generation microarray. This array will be produced before summer 2010.
