Test systems
We are continuously developing test systems for assessment of environmental toxicants, mainly from the oil industry. These tests include both acute tests as well as chronic tests over several generations.

Here is an updated list of the test systems developed an optimized for C. finmarchicus. Information on the different test systems are found in the left margin.

Since the generation time of Calanus is appr. 6 weeks, it is possible to assess toxicity at different stages over a rather short period of time. This enables us to screen for specifically toxicant-sensitive stages.
