ITENE is a Research Center integrated by companies, organizations and institutions related to Packaging, Transport and Logistics. ITENE’s mission consists of generating scientific and technological knowledge, adding value to companies and improving business competitiveness through the promotion of research, development, innovation and advanced technological services.

ITENE has considerable experience in FP6 and FP7, both as partner and coordinator: SUSTAINPACK (VI FP NMP), BESTLOG (VI FP “Sustainable development, global change and ecosystems”) CHILL-ON (VI FP FOOD), NAFISPACK where ITENE was the coordinator (VII FP FOOD), SUSTAINCOMP (VII FP NMP), REBIOFOAM (VII FP NMP), SORT-IT(VII FP ENV), U-STIR (VII FP TRANSPORT), BOOSTEFF (VII FP NMP), TRAYSRENEW (VII FP SME), LCA to go (VII FP ENV), BESTFACT (VII FP Transport), ROPAS (VII FP NMP), ISAPACK ( VII FP KBBE).
