WIDER UPTAKE has a consortium with 18 project partners. The participants come from five countries covering different societal, environmental and economic conditions and are from industries, utilities and research, development and innovation (R&DI).

Stichting Waternet (NL) Logo

Stichting Waternet (NL) is the joint organization of the City of Amsterdam (Amsterdam) and the Water Authority Amstel Gooi and Vecht (AGV) responsible for all water related activities, including drinking water production and distribution, the sewerage for household and industrial waste water and rainwater, waste water treatment and management of all surface waters, in and around Amsterdam. This unique combination of tasks makes WATNL the only water company in the Netherlands that covers the whole water cycle.

Hias IKS Logo

HIAS IKS is an inter-municipal company that produces potable water and treats wastewater from four municipalities: Hamar, Løten, Ringsaker and Stange. HIAS IKS is owned by the municipalities. HIAS WWTP was built in 1974 as part of a large rescue operation to save the Lake Mjøsa.
