The first Citizen Lab took place in Ellesmere Port on 14th of January 2019, where the SecREEts partner Less Common Metals (LCM) is established. Together with Prospex Institute and SINTEF, LCM introduced SecREEts to a group of local stakeholders for the first time. This was an opportunity for members of the community to ask questions, raise concerns and make suggestions of other stakeholders to contact or follow-up activities in the area. Participants pointed out to issues such as environmental risks or impact on local traffic, but they also gave ideas of future engagement of SecREEts including site visits, conferences, involvement with local schools... We collected questions from the participants and are currently working on publicly providing accurate answers.
