Catalytic membrane preparation

The photo-catalytic layer is formed on or inside a porous support by e.g. dip-coating followed by calcination. Other techniques, such as spray coating, hydrothermal synthesis, etc. can also be applied Seehttp://www.sintef.no/Home/Materials-and-Chemistry/Energy-Conversion-and-Materials/Materials-for-Energy-and-Environmental-Technology/Test/Ceramic-processing-and-shaping-technology/  and also http://www.sintef.no/static/mt/2423/functional_ceramics/matsyn.htm.  Photo-catalytic membranes can be prepared in different geometries; tubular, flat, multi-channel, fiber, etc.
