Biography

Nina Dahl is Research Director for Metal production and Processing in SINTEF Industry.

Dahl has more than 30 years' experience within materials technology and metal production both from the R&D sector (SINTEF) and from Hydro Extruded Products as head of Extrusion Competence Centre (2008-2013). In SINTEF the research activities covers the whole value-chain, from treatment and processing of raw materials, through sustainable production of metals and materials to application and behavior of materials and end products. Metal recycling, recovery and waste valorization are also important activities.

Dahl is SINTEF representative in the board of the national strategy process Process 21 and is board member in the SINTEF company SINTEF Manufacturing.
