Activities include both traditional shipping and offshore operations. Priority is given to:

• Operations in exposed areas, extreme wind and wave conditions
• Sloshing in tanks on LNG vessels
• Marine operations involving installation, intervention and maintenance
• LNG terminals, ship handling and mooring

Combination of multiple floating bodies, flexible and stiff/slender bodies is studied in connection with ship to ship cargo transfer operations as well as crane operations. Researchers are using and extending application areas for a number of numerical tools (SIMO, MIMOSA, RIFLEX, ...).
