DECRIS is a project under the SAMRISK research programme. It is a cooperation between SINTEF, FFI and NTNU.

The main objective is to develop risk and vulnerability analyses that focus on critical infrastructure  (drinking water, energy supply, transportation, ICT) interdependencies. The methodology is an "all hazard" approach, to be used by authorities and companies with responsibilities of these lifelines. Part of the project is to study how risk related to critical infrastructure is communicated to the public, to gain knowledge of decision processes, and of the society's perception of risk.

The project is carried out in close cooperation with Oslo Kommune.
