Some previous presented pages from the MarSafe project: MarSafe High North was kicked-off end of September-08 in Trondheim. The topics of the kick-off meeting was to walk through the different work packages, as well as to gain common understanding among the participants regarding the challenges the project are seeking to focus up on. Basically the eight different work packages can be grouped to following domain areas: Nautical operations, including transport corridors and logistics Dynamic reis assessment and emergency response Territorial security control and resource supervision Infrastructure and integrated coastal zone management The project will investigate these functions and determine current and future requirements as well as implications for necessary technical support.
