The CRIOP methodology is the result of a dynamic development process involving a variety of companies. Forever evolving, the CRIOP methodology was subject to a large scale revision initiated in 2003 by Norsk Hydro. To assure the interdicipline perspectives, and to safeguard the integrity of the CRIOP methodology a Steering Committee, a project team and a quality assurance team were established. In addition the project team recieved valuable comments and assistance.In 2004 several improvements have been implemented as a result of "in use" feedback, as well as user experiences.
