UiO and SINTEF have broad external collaborations and welcome new links and initiatives that fall within our prioritized research areas.

The Centre for Research Based Innovation (CRI) “Innovative Natural Gas Processes and Products” (INGPRO) was approved by the Research Council of Norway in June 2006. The INGPRO centre will become operative as of January 1st 2007. The CRI partners are UiO, SINTEF, NTNU, Norsk Hydro ASA, Statoil ASA, Borealis ASA. The CATMAT collaboration has a prominent role in the CRI.

CATMAT participate in several EU projects

CATMAT has excellent access to synchrotron radiation experiments at ESRF, in particular the Swiss Norwegian Beam Lines

CATMAT has excellent access to high throughput technology for development of catalysts and adsorbents through its alliance with UOP on combinatorial chemistry.
