SINTEF Energi AS
Norway's foremost contract research institute within energy research, will manage and be the main R&D provider in the GasBio project. SINTEF ER is among Europe's most experience coordinators of large international multi-client strategic research projects. SINTEF ER is a part of the SINTEF group, which is Europe's 4th largest independent R&D Institute. SINTEF ER has a strong, synergic cooperation with The Norwegian University of Science and Technology, NTNU. In 2009 the Research Council of Norway established eight National Centres for Environmental Friendly Energy Research (FME). SINTEF and NTNU host / lead six of these eight centres.
Norges teknisk-naturvitenskaplige universitet (NTNU)
NTNU has 20 000 students and a permanent staff of 2700 handling at any time more than 2 000 research projects. The international cooperation is very strong with more than 320 cooperation agreements with other universities worldwide. 314 doctoral degrees were awarded in 2008.

Metso
is a global supplier of technology and services for the mining, construction, power generation, oil and gas, recycling, and pulp and paper industries. Metso is a front-runner in fluidized bed combustion technology to power plants combusting biomass, coal and other fuels, and a a world leading technology supplier within combustion and gasification systems for biomass and waste.
Avinor
is responsible for planning, developing and operating the Norwegian airport network. Avinor operates 46 airports in Norway, thereof 12 in cooperation with the armed forces. Operations also include air traffic control towers, control centres and technical infrastructure for aircraft navigation. Safety has the highest priority, and Avinor is responsible for maintaining the correct security level at all airports. Avinor continuously work towards limiting environmentally harmful emissions to air and ground and towards reducing aircraft noise.
Oslo Airport (Oslo Lufthavn AS) is a wholly-owned subsidiary and has its own managing director.
Statkraft
is Europe's leader in renewable energy. The group develops and generates hydropower, wind power, gas power and district heating, and is a major player on the European energy exchanges. Statkraft has more than 3 500 staff in more than 20 countries.
Statkraft is among top 2 district heating suppliers in Norway dominantly fuelled by waste and biomass, and aims to increase the renewal share of feedstock to 90%.
