Biography

Professor Hanna Knuutila is working at the Department of Chemical Engineering at NTNU, and has been involved in several EU- and national projects since 2006.

In these projects, she has worked on different aspects of absorption-based CO₂ capture. The modeling and experimental activities currently focus on developing and characterizing solvents for CO₂ removal. In recent years, aerosol-based emissions, solvent stability and solvent degradation studies have become an important research activity.
