Smart Grid Laboratory

NTNU and SINTEF have built a new National Smart Grid Laboratory in Trondheim with funding from the Research Council of Norway in cooperation with the Artic University of Norway and Smart Innovation Østfold.

Smart meters in the Smart Grid Lab

A lab environment for piloting is currently being established in the Smart Grid Laboratory, containing smart meters of Aidon.

Skagerak Energylab

The Skagerak Energylab consists of 2,700 solar cell panels on the roof of the arena with an installed capacity of 800 kW and a battery with a storage capacity of 1 MWh.
