The aim of DESTINY is to reproduce and simulate the dynamic behaviour of all the components in stationary energy systems according to the desired architecture and energy control algorithms. The library has a particular focus on batteries and hydrogen technologies in hybrid storage solutions and how the use of batteries, fuel cells, and electrolysers can be optimised in such systems. DESTINY is compatible with VIrtualFCS, and with the use of the VirtualFCS library XInTheLoop, it is possible to interface developed DESTINY models with external physical systems.
